50 + RETREATS

A FULLY PROGRAMMED EXERCISE AND THERAPY RETREAT DESIGNED  FOR THE OVER 50'S TO SAMPLE A WIDE RANGE OF CLASSES AND THERAPIES.

All classes and activities are tailored to participants abilities and fully optional.

Our trainers are 'Living Longer - Living Stronger' accredited.

Exercising over 50 is essential in maintaining a healthy lifestyle as you grow older.

The benefits of strength training for older adults are numerous – arthritis relief, reducing the risk and severity of falls, weight maintenance, sleep improvement and a sense of mental well-being.
 

Fitness Therapy is more than just a Retreat!

We offer  a full programme  of  exercise  classes  tailored to suit older guests.  Each  active class is immediately followed by  a  therapeutic  session  that  relaxes,  rejuvenates and  aids  recuperation.

Our highly qualified team of  personal trainers will guide you through  3 days of  classes  that are tailored to the over 50's and allow you to work at your own pace to achieve maximum benefit..

Our program offers a  smorgasbord of  fitness and therapeutic activities  that  will invigorate your body and open your mind to a variety of possibilities  that may enhance your health and wellness outcomes when you return home.

To complement a 3 day retreat our program also includes cultural and social tours.

Your program includes....

                                1 x  assessment session.

                                1 x 'Strength for Life' Session.    Strength training means using weights – like                                    hand weights, machines or just your own body weight – to build muscle                                              strength and endurance. Strength training with our Strength for Life                                                programs for older people can help you to stay active and independent as                                          you  age.

                                1 x Gentle Gym - Machine Technique session.  This session provides                                                    participants with information on correct methods and technique when using a                                  wide variety of weight machines.

       

                                1 x RPM  indoor cycle class,  1 x Pilates Class,  1 x Les Mills TONE™ class

                                2 x yoga and  1 x Body  Stretch +  slow aerobic session and more!  All sessions

                                are totally optional.

                                1 x  Massage Therapy

                                1 x Salt Therapy 

                                1 x Aromatherapy/Sensory Therapy Session

                                Sauna Therapy Session

            PLUS

                                1 x  Tour of sites of significance to the Njaki Njaki Aboriginal people with a                                        local  Traditional Owner Aboriginal tour guide.
